fractions

Big window

at a fallen moment

I stop

to wonder where

that fraction went

before it came to rest

which brings me to

serendipity

and what I understand of that

how the obvious will stare

straight at me in its naked state

unashamed and proud to bare

a gift, a threat

a thought to dare

that might expose me for what I am

and leave me aghast

staring at solid air

and another chance at risk

to be still and accentuate the moment

and  drown

in you

Lost then Found

Swimmer

Lost then Found

A fallen moment

I stop

I wonder where

That moment went

Before it came to rest

Which brings me to

Serendipity

And what I understand

Of that

How the obvious will stare

Straight at me. Naked

Unashamed. Proud to bare

A gift. A threat

A thought to dare

Expose me for what I am

Leave me aghast

To look at solid air

Another chance to care

Stilled moment

Let me drown

In you

Moments

MomentsMoments

I send out daily bites
As nourishment for souls
Unbidden
Is this generosity?
Sharp insights that come from moments
Freshly squeezed. The sap of thoughts
That flounder if they are not transmitted

Throwing out the fishes and loaves
Displacement of all that is mine
Just moments. All that I have
Are they gifts?
These little things mean a lot to me
Harboured as they are in neutrality
Go children for it pleases me to watch

Discharged. My atomic vanity
Simpers. Hoping for traction
Wishing above all to be absorbed
Is this guilt?
For the smallness that haunts
Can taunt in an ironic way
Because I know too much about irrelevance
